Cracking bar with great Guinness and food. Fantastic sports memorabilia on the walls. Loads of tvs to watch sports. We both had the Smash burgers which were unreal. My only complaint was I asked to substitute fries for cajun fries and was told no problem. Then to be charged an extra 1.50 for them was disappointing. They were the same price on the menu and I could at least have been told they were extra.
The food here is great - very reasonably priced and very generous portion sizes. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. There's a good buzz about the place, particularly on match days, but it doesn't have that typical "bar vibe" in the dining area. It's a great spot to go for a meal and for a few drinks afterwards.
4/5, one point docked due to the meat-centred menu, and for the wheelchair inaccessiblity. Otherwise, it can't be faulted.
